Clinton C. Gunderson

Clinton C. Gunderson, age 87 passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 7, 2018. Funeral Service will be 11:00am Friday July 13, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota. Visitation is 4:00 – 7:00pm Thursday, July 12th at St. Peter Funeral Home – Klein Chapel and one hour prior to service.

Clinton was born November 26, 1930 in rural Kasota to Gustaf and Alice (Crossfield) Gunderson. He is graduate of St. Peter High School and was a lifelong farmer in rural Kasota. Clint was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Lavitschke on August 1, 1953. He was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church in Kasota also serving as an elder and served on the board for Kasota Hill Cemetery. Clint loved antiques and collecting, traveling, John Wayne movies and his dogs.

Clint is survived by daughter Belinda (Stephen) Haefner; sons: Steven (Cathy), Tim (Stacy) and Jeff (Tara); 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, grandson Nicholas Gunderson, great grandson Kale Gunderson and sister Chloris Carlson.
