Jeffrey Rosoff

Jeffrey A. Rosoff, age 68 of St. Peter, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Rivers Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

Public services will be held at a later date. 

Jeff was born in San Francisco CA to Harold and Berniece Rosoff.  He was raised and schooled in the San Francisco Bay Area, attending UC Berkley where he received his BS and PhD in Mathematics. He was employed as a professor of mathematics by Illinois State University and later Gustavus Adolphus College from where he retired in 2015. He was a “renaissance man” who loved life and the people around him, as well as his woodworking, playing his piano and guitar, tippling and conversing with friends and working on research problems at his kitchen table.

Left to remember Jeffrey are his mother Berniece, sister Leslie Westerlind, beloved partner Colleen Jacks and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan, son David, father Harold and brother Doug.

Memorials can be made to the Rock Bend Folk Festival, the David Rosoff Memorial Scholarship/St. Peter Dollars for Scholars, the Mayo Clinic or donor’s choice.
