Kathryn Ann (Willaert) Marang of Otsego, MN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents Donald Willaert and Harriet (Denn) Willaert. She was born on February 7, 1955 and grew up in St. Peter, MN. Kathy spent most of her life in Ohio, raising her sons. She liked to frequent garage sales, flea markets, and thrift stores for hidden treasures.

Kathryn is survived by her sons, Patrick Schmitz II and Jeremy Schmitz (Jillian); granddaughters, Ava and Amelia Schmitz; brothers, Steve Willaert (Cindy) and David Willaert; sisters, Donna Gleb (Bob), Shari Hoffman (Rick) and Rosemary Christianson (Lon); and her Chihuahua, Hannah.

Visitation will be held on 3/13/18 at St. Peter Funeral Home at 10:00, with funeral service starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Kathy will be remembered always for being a genuinely beautiful person with a contagious smile, and giving spirit.
