Janet Fredlund, age 82 of St. Peter, died on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Janet June was born June 30, 1935 in Alexandria MN to George and Lillie Anderson. She graduated from Osakis High School in 1953 and was united in marriage to Frank Fredlund on October 26, 1957. Jan worked as a secretary for several companies and eventually at the University of Minnesota in Morris for 8 years and later at Guastavus Adolphus College. She took several college courses while employed and also learned Swedish and German. She worked in many departments at Gustavus and retired in 1998 after 29 years there. Jan was a very active person who enjoyed swimming, downhill and cross country skiing, camping, traveling and was talented at everything she did.

Jan will be missed by her husband, Frank of St. Peter, 2 sisters: Jean and Shirley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 nieces.
