Lloyd E. Sanderson

Lloyd Sanderson, age 83 of St. Peter, died on Sunday, January 7, 2018 surrounded by family in Mankato.

Memorial service will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Peter with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery in St. Peter with military honors. Memories can be shared at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Lloyd E. Sanderson was born on March 12, 1934 in St. Peter to Selmer and Ula (Jensen) Sanderson. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. Lloyd married Nancy Mae Mettler on February 9, 1963 in St. Peter. He worked at the state hospital, was a volunteer for the St. Peter Ambulance and Military Honor Guard. Lloyd enjoyed being outside, took pride in his yard and was a car enthusiast.

Left to remember Lloyd are his wife, Nancy; daughter Stacey (Richard) Martin; grandchildren: Kelly (Chris), Christopher, and Cameron; brother, Robert Sanderson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott in 2017 and a brother, Jim.
