Anna Anderson

Anna C. Anderson, age 96 of St. Peter and formerly New Prague, passed on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Peter Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at the Franklin Cemetery.

Anna Caroline was born on February 27, 1921 in Redwood Falls, MN to Max and Adele (Heimer) Karo. She was united in marriage to John Anderson on June 9, 1943 in Redwood Falls. Anna worked various jobs outside of the home. She was a hard worker, not retiring until age 75. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague and was active there with luncheons and the sewing group. Anna enjoyed gardening, sewing and keeping her lawn immaculate.

Left to remember Anna are her son, Larry (Sarah) of Madison Lake; grandchildren: Tamra (Ted) Leif of Mound, Troy (Becky) of St. Peter, and Amy (Troy) Maisch of Watertown; great grandchildren Isaac and Nathan Leif and Matthew, Andrew and Adam Maisch; sister Edna Horkey; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1972, sisters: Ellen (Maurice) Nelson and Margaret (Roger) Drummond; brother, George Karo and brother-in-law Gordon Horkey.
