Sandra “Sandee” (Eichorst) Lusk

Sandra Ann Lusk, 66, of St. Peter formerly of Le Center died peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, April 1, 2016 at Benedictine Living Community, St. Peter, MN.

A memorial service officiated by Rev. Jacek Soroka will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Peter Funeral Home, St. Peter, MN with visitation taking place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Peter Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow the service.

Sandee was born December 17, 1949 to Leonard and Betty (Burgess) Eichorst in Fairmont, MN. She attended Sherburn High School. On July 27, 1968, Sandee was united in marriage to Dennis Lusk where they raised four children:  Randy, Scott, Cory, and Amber in Le Center, MN. Sandee and Dennis shared thirty-six years of marriage before they divorced.

Sandee enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking cookies-especially with her grandchildren, attending Home Free concerts, and being a friend to everyone.  Sandee will be remembered as a generous, funny, nurturing person who exuded love, and most of all being a loving mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory include sons, Randy (Barb) Lusk, Chaska, MN; Scott Lusk St. Peter, MN, Cory (Katie) Lusk, Rochester, MN; and daughter, Amber (Chuck) Warnemunde, Faribault, MN; grandchildren, Nathan and Alison Warnemunde, Carson and Breslyn Lusk; beloved dog, Wilson; siblings Julie (Terry) Stundahl, Algona, IA, Carolyn Fisher, West Bend, IA, Steven (Colleen) Fisher, Omaha, Nebraska; close friend Teri Martell and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shara (Shari) Fisher Opheim, and dog Wesley.
