Wilma “Billee" Peterson

Lifelong St. Peter resident Wilma "Billee" Peterson died on Monday, September 28, 2015 at River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Memorial visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St. Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel. Wilma was born on June 4, 1929 in St. Peter to Edward and Norma Pell Johnson. She attended grade school and high school in St. Peter. She married Dennis L. Peterson on June 18, 1948 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked at Nicollet County Bank, Dr. Robert Dahleen Sr. Dental office and for 23 years at A.S.C. office and also 5 ½ years at Farm Credit. She enjoyed family and friends, gardening, shopping and "doing" lunch. Billee is survived by sons: Michael (Kathleen) of Waseca and Patrick (Kristal) of Mankato; grandchildren: Scot (Jenise) Peterson, Jill (Matt) Johnson, Jeni (Jacob) Bobholz and Marcus Peterson; great grandchildren: Taryn, Ayden, Ellie, Ryer and Zoe; sister: Carol (Martin) Menk; brother Pell (Theresa) Johnson; and brothers-in-law Howard Hermel and Stan Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dennis, step father George McKenzie and sisters Gloria Davis and Myra Hermel.
