Gladys Maxson

Gladys Maxson, age 96, passed away at Eucumen Prairie Hill, St. Peter, Sunday, July 5. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, parents, siblings. She is survived by herdaughter Jackie Terauds (George) Eden Prairie, son Douglas, San Jose, California, , 3 grandchildren, Mark Terauds, Eden Prairie, Julie Maxson, Oakland, California, Steve Maxson, Campbell, California, 2 great grandchildren, Beau & Baptiste, Oakland, California, sister, Betty Sullivan, Olney, Texas, nieces and nephews, many friends. Gladys is retired from the St. Peter State Hospital and had many hobbies & interests including sewing, travel, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family having fun. She was active in her church for many years, as well as the VFW, which she was a past president, and the Legion Auxillary. She was such a wonderful mother, grandmother & friend to all. What a Blessing to all of us. She loved to go dancing; now she can waltz across heaven with her beloved Ray. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Peter with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 on Thursday at St. Peter Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church.
