Jon D. Thompson

Jon D. Thompson, age 65 of St. Peter, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at his home. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. John Dale was born on February 16, 1950 in St. Peter to Dale and Bernadine (Davis) Thompson. He graduated from St. Peter High School and furthered his education, receiving a B.S. degree from Mankato State. He enjoyed fishing, playing Pfeiffer and being around family. Left to remember Jon are his son: Travis Conroy and grandchildren Mason and Madison; mother: Bernadine; sisters: Mary (Dave) Mogensen and Jane (Jeff) Oachs; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Dale.
