Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Welch, MN. Joel was born July 20, 1937 in Red Wing. Joel is survived by his brother, LeRoy (Nancy) Martinson; nephew, Steve (Brenda) Martinson; niece, Karin (Charles) Horner; nine great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred (Ruth) Martinson and sister, Carolyn.
