The Lord called home Beverly A. Engesser, of St. Peter, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 19, 2015 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Beverly Ann was born on August 3, 1930 in Mankato to William A. and Audrey B. (Severson) Habinger. She is a graduate of Mankato High School and was employed at Midwest Electric while living in Mankato. In 1950, she was united in marriage to Harold George Engesser. In 1984, they moved to Sedona AZ and owned and operated Engesser's Native American Arts for 23 years. In 2009, they returned to St. Peter. Beverly enjoyed playing cards and games, and loved being with her grandchildren. Left to remember Beverly are her husband Harold; daughters: JoBe Thilgen, Dawn (John) Cannoles and Amber (Michael) Spiess; grandchildren: Justin Johnson, Cassidy Spiess, and Cody (Ingrid) Spiess; great grandson Jari Spiess; brother: Bill (Marilyn) Habinger; mother-in-law Grace Paquette; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Harold B. Engesser and son-in-law Jim Thilgen.
