Genevieve Paul

Genevieve Paul, age 75 of St. Peter, died on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 6, 2014 at First Lutheran Church in St. Peter with Rev. Alan Bray officiating. Burial will be at a later date Greenhill Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the start of the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Genevieve was born on September 22, 1939 in St. Peter to Charles and Florence (Scholl) Witty. She graduated from St. Peter High School and began working at the Johnson Overall Factory in St. Peter. She continued her education in Mankato and got her degree as a hairstylist. She worked for Karen's Beauty Shop in St. Peter before starting her own business out of her home in St. Peter. On September 8, 1962 she was united in marriage to Terry Paul in St. Peter. Genevieve was a member of the St. Peter American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed knitting, reading, walking her dog and spending time with family. Left to remember Genevieve are sons: Kelley (Diane) and Brady; sisters-in-law, Melanie (Denny) Davis and Shirley Witty; brother-in-law, Mike (Susie) Paul; grandchildren: Kayla, Brandon, Cody and Shelby and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Terry in 2004: daughter Lindi & granddaughter Emma in 2014; a brother Willis and a sister Vivian and brother-n-law Paul Huebner.
