Anna V. Moses, age 102 of Kasota, died on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota with Chris Conlin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

Anna Victoria was born on September 19, 1910 in Lake Prairie Township, Nicollet County to Peter and Hilda Thorson. She graduated from St. Peter High School and continued with her Teacher Training. She taught for one year in a rural Kasota school and met her husband, Clairon Moses. They were united in marriage on October 19, 1932 in St. Peter. They lived in Mankato before settling on the family farm in rural Kasota. She no longer taught after getting married and was a wife, mother and homemaker.

Anna was a member of First Presbyterian where she was also active with ladies aid. She was the secretary for the Farm Bureau, was a 4H leader for many years, was in a card club and was a member of a senior citizen group in Kasota. She enjoyed gardening, canning, playing cards and raising chickens to sell the eggs.

Left to cherish her memory are: her children, Duane (Evelyn Rudenick), Virginia McPhee and Carolyn Heiden; five grandchildren: Jay (Janet) Moses, Julie Moses, Michael (Wendy) McPhee, Victoria (Mark) Edmiston and Cindy (Bill) Trinca; four great grandchildren and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998 and a grandson.
