Mary Margaret Scholl, age 82 of St. Peter, died on Tuesday, September 03, 2013 at her home.
Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter with visitation one hour prior. Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mary was born on January 21 1931 in Minneapolis. She was raised in St. Peter by William and Eleanor Egli and was a lifelong resident. On June 28, 1952 she was united in marriage to Robert Scholl in St. Peter. Mary worked as an LPN for the state hospital for 31 years, retiring in 1991. She also worked as an EMT for the St. Peter Ambulance and at the St. Peter Senior Dining Site.
Mary enjoyed travel, knitting, her dogs and especially her children and grandchildren.
Left to remember her are her children: Steven (Maureen), David (Jackie), Michael (Jeff Lightbody), Karen, Kathryn and William (David Jones); five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1990.
