Ardith Marks, age 86 of St. Peter, went to Heaven on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at St. Peter Funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Scandian Grove Lutheran Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
Ardith was born on April 5, 1927 in St. Peter to Raymond and Mary Quick. She is a 1948 graduate of St. Peter High School. She worked at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center for 30 years as a Human Services Technician. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Kasota and served as their secretary. Ardith was known as an expert knitter and enjoyed being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter: Lorna Whitmore (Mrs. Richard Holz); brother: Wesley (Karen) Quick; four grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren: Tre', Zoe, Kobe, Piper, Milo, Aria, Micah, Hannah, Kitara, Everitt, Izaiah and Tanner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and two brothers.
