Helen Mae Morris, 77, of St. Peter, MN died November 19, 2013 at MVHC in Le Sueur, MN.
She was born May 18, 1936 to George and Mary (Graham) Gilsrud. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard Morris, and former husband Eldred Manteufel.
Helen started out as a homemaker, and finished her work life at Grandview Care Center as a cook. Helen was a member of First Lutheran Church in St. Peter. She enjoyed baking, music and playing cards.
Helen is survived by four children: Audrey Manteufel (Ronald Read) of Minneapolis; Bruce Manteufel (Chris) of St. Peter; Brian Manteufel (Ann) of Le Sueur, and Dale Manteufel of St. Peter; also her Morris stepchildren. She is survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Clinton (Kathryn) Gilsrud; JoAnn (Al) Joosten; Robert (Jeanie) Gilsrud; Maryann (Joel) Winter; Carl (Joyce) Gilsrud; Brenda (Larry) Holicky; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday November 25, 2013 at 10:00, followed by funeral service at 11:00, at First Lutheran Church in St. Peter. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
