RaVae J. Hofferbert, age 63 of St. Peter, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at a later date in Bernodotte Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church.. St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.

RaVae Joyce was born September 29, 1949 to Robert and Ruth (Schmidt) Lund in Gaylord. She was baptized in her faith at the Bernodotte Lutheran Church, and confirmed in the same at American Lutheran Church. She graduated from Gaylord High School and had attended Gustavus Adolphus College. RaVae was married to Lee Eustis and they were blessed with their son, Randy. On December 17, 1988, RaVae was united in marriage to Donald Hofferbert and together they attended Trinity Lutheran Church. Her love for and talent for sports shined through basketball in college and many years playing with the St. Peter womens softball league and later relfected in her dedication and following of her grandchildren. She was an avid member of the Shoreland Golf Club and the St. Peter/Le Sueur Bulldog Hockey Association. RaVae enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, antiques, sports, playing softball, the outdoors, and watching the wildlife in their backyard.

RaVae is survived by her husband, Donald "Donno"; son, Randy (Amy) Eustis and step-children; Mike (Cheryl) Chaves, Kevin (Lori) Hofferbert, Wade (Melanie) Armstrong, and Corey (Lisa) Hofferbert; grandchildren: Becky, Luke, Max, and Cooper Eustis, step-grandchildren: Jessie (Marysia) Baartman, Miranda and Cassandra Chaves, Kyle and Kyra Hofferbert, Cecily and Alexandra Armstrong, Samantha Hofferbert, Ryan Krediet, and Stacy Hofferbert; great-grandchildren: Damian Mallow, Jackson, Brooklyn and Emberlyn Krediet; her mother, Ruth; brother, John (Kathy) Lund; and a niece and nephew.

RaVae was preceded in death by her father, Bob.
