Ethel Marie Haack, age 63 of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2007 at the LeCenter Methodist Church. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at St. Peter Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Savidge Lake Cemetery.
Ethel was born to Elmer and Joyce (Rogers) Oldenkamp on July 24, 1943 in Cleveland, MN. She was baptized and a member of the Cleveland Methodist Church. Ethel graduated from the Cleveland High School in 1961. She married Arvid M. Haack on July 21, 1962 at the Cleveland Methodist Church. After living in LeCenter for 1 year, they made their home in Cleveland. Ethel was a Sunday School Teacher, supt. of the Sunday School, youth leader, Pres. of Ladies Aid, and the Church Broad Treas. She worked at Spores & Co, A.D.C, Chuckwagon Caf", and 20 years at Gustavas Adolphus College.
Ethel is survived by her husband, Arvid; 3 children: Ronald (Brandy), Tammy (Stephen), Steven (Kathleen); 8 grandchildren: Amy, Kelly, Kevin, Elizabeth, Maria, Joanna, Veronica, and Susanna; 2 great grandchildren: Amelia and Chloe; 1 Brother, Jerry (Mary); 1 sister, Rosemary; and many nieces and nephews.
