Fillmore Albert Haack, age 74 of St. Peter passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 27th at the Church of St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Thursday at St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein chapel with a prayer service at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to the service at church.
Fillmore was born on April 24, 1933 in St. Peter to Clarence and Marcella (Yost) Haack. He attended the District 40 School in Lake Prairie Township and St. Peter High School. On May 22, 1954 he married Delia Fortier and they were blessed with 4 children .He worked various jobs in the area until starting for ADC Telecommunications where he was employed for 38 years before retiring in 1994.
Fillmore is survived by his wife, Delia of St. Peter; 4 Children: Jeff and wife Cheri of St Peter, Dennis of Chaska, Angela and special friend Joel Goemann of Bricelyn, and Connie of Cleveland; 5Grandchildren: Danielle and special friend Eric of Erie CO, Justin, Bradley and Nathan Haack all of St. Peter, and Oliver Haack of Cleveland, sister Rita (Haack) Anderson and husband Tom of New Ulm; and many other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
