Audrey Gibbs, 64 of Cleveland passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 of natural causes at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday August 6, 2007 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Cleveland. Visitation will be from 4-7 on Sunday evening at St. Peter Funeral Home Klein Chapel and will continue 1 hour prior to the services at church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the Family with arrangements.
Audrey was born on April 5, 1943 to Herman and Helma (Fischer) Schwichtenberg. She attended school in Mahtomedi, MN and on June 16, 1960 joined in marriage to Marvin Gibbs in St. Peter. She was employed in her early years as a waitress and then as a school bus driver for Cleveland public schools for 33 years before retirement. She also worked several part time positions for ROLCO and Holiday gas station. Audrey had a real passion for painting and wallpapering for family and friends. She enjoyed bowling and bingo, but she enjoyed playing cards the most; especially if she could keep score. She loved cooking and baking, which everyone got o enjoy. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her 3 sons: Duane of Eagan, Glen of Austin TX and Jerry of LeCenter; 5 grandchildren: Elly, Marvin, Ashley, Abby and Max; 5 sisters: Norma, Vila, Iris, Snookie and Sandra; and 1 brother: Herman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 4 siblings.
