Judith "Judy" Cooper (nee Kurhajetz), age 60, of St. Peter and formerly of the Twin Cities, passed away on Thursday August 2, 2007 at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held in St. Peter at the Church of Holy Communion Episcopal Church at 2pm on Saturday August 4, 2007. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday at St. Peter Funeral Home "Klein Chapel. Services in the Twin Cities will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mendota with burial following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church in Mendota. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Judy is survived by her parents: Joseph and Julia; Siblings: John, Carole (Jerry), Jo Anne and Jim (Anita); many loving nieces and nephews; and a community of loving friends.
Judy will be remembered for her quick wit, kind ways and love of nature and music. She has been an inspiration and role model to many.
Thank you to all her friends for their loving support before and after her illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Save the Kasota Prairie or the St. Peter Food Co-op.
