Rural Kasota resident Ethel M. Mosher, 82, died Monday, September 24, 2007 at Grandview Good Samaritan Health Care Center in St. Peter.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church, Kasota. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Thursday, at St. Peter Funeral Home Klein Chapel. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato.
Mrs. Mosher was born December 6, 1924 to Carl and Ellen (Larson) Rosenbrook in Rogers, Minnesota. She graduated from Rapidan High School and attended Mankato Teacher's College. She married Clayton J. Mosher on March 12, 1950 at Mankato. She was employed at Automatic Electric, Gustavus Adolphus College and St. Peter High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kasota. She was a fine seamstress and was known by some as "The Quilt Lady".
She is survived by her husband; 3 daughters and their husbands: Mary Ellen and Karel -(Chuck) Hoogenraad of Hopkins, Susan and Daniel Honetschlager of St. Peter, Annette and Herb Nichols of Golden Valley; son James C. Mosher and Rene of St. Peter; son-in-law, Les Lotton of Mankato; and sister-in-law Helen Erickson of Rapidan: 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a niece. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Laurie Lotton; grandson, Justin Hoogenraad; brother, Everett Rosenbrook.
