Gloria Flemming Steele, 100, of Waconia and formerly of Coon Rapids, MN and Mankato died Friday, September 28, at the Waconia Good Samaritan Center in Waconia, MN.
Gloria was born on December 7, 1906 in Mankato to George and Mary (Klages) Flemming. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1924 and St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester, MN in 1928
She was married to Vincent Steele in Hastings, MN on July 10, 1930. Gloria is survived by three sons: Richard (Ramona) of Mankato, John (Jill) of Leesburg, FL, and Ralph of Eden Prairie; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; her parents; and three brothers.
