Michel Potz, 58, of Kasota passed away at his home on Monday, November 26, 2007.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church (511 S. 5th Street) in St. Peter. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 on Friday, November 30 at Trinity Lutheran and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at 3:00 pm Saturday at Greenhill Cemetery in St. Peter. St. Peter Funeral Home " Klein Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mike was born on June 24, 1949 in Mankato MN to Gerald and Adeline (Brazier) Potz. He was a 1968 graduate of St. Peter High School. He married Carol Krisatis in June of 1970. He worked at Vetter Stone and Fabrication of Mankato. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed all outdoor activities and Family gatherings. He was also a member of the Kasota volunteer EMS.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife; son Adam and special friend Shelby Beckel of Mankato; grandchildren: Jacob, Isaac, Jennifer and Ryan Potz; parents Gerald and Adeline and sister Elizabeth of Pequot Lakes; brothers and sisters in law: Joan and Mike Bonham of Le Sueur, and Betty and Warren Michels of St. Peter; and many other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his son Joel, sister Toni and his grandparents.
Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
