Hollie C Coulter

Hollie Charlotte Coulter, age 100, of St. Peter, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the St. Peter Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in St. Peter. Luncheon will be held at the Red Men Club in St. Peter prior to the visitation at 11:30 a.m. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Benedictine Living Community.

Hollie was born on December 24, 1913, in St. Peter. She was the daughter of William and Ida (Nyberg) Young. Hollie was a 1932 graduate of St. Peter High School. She was united in marriage to Harold "Peanuts" Coulter on June 15, 1938. Hollie was a homemaker and was employed with Mallen's Produce. She also did some babysitting and assisted Harold with his plumbing shop. Hollie was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, fishing, and traveling, spending winters in Clear Lake, FL.

Hollie is survived by her niece, Mary (Mike) Lundon of St. Peter; nephew, Sid (Alvera) Tousley of Cross Lake; special grandnieces, Karen Lundon and Diane Tousley; friends, Linda Jones and Roberta Connors; also numerous grandnieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Harold; and a sister, Carol.
