Karen Loeffler

Karen Loeffler, age 74 of St. Peter, died on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be from 5:00 " 7:00 pm on Wednesday and will continue one hour prior to the service, all at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Karen was born on September 16, 1939 in New Ulm to Lloyd and Oleda Rieke. She owned and operated Karen's Beauty Shop in St. Peter for over 35 years. She was active in the church choir and was very active in the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed quilting, animals and most importantly, her grandsons.

Left to remember Karen are her children: Lynn (Deb) and grandsons Grant and Nicholas of Cleveland, and LaVonne (Steve Clercx) of St. Peter; sister: Marjorie (John) Kroehler; nephews and niece: David Kroehler, Cheryl (Curt) Blaschko and James (Brenda) Kroehler. She was preceded in death by her parents.
