Oliver Pehrson

Oliver "Junior" Pehrson, age 64 of Le Sueur, died on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Scandian Grove Lutheran Church in Norseland with Rev. Kay Rohloff officiating. Visitation will be one our prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Oliver James Pehrson Jr. was born on May 21, 1950 to Oliver Sr. and Helen (Arndt) Pehrson. He attended St. Peter High School, graduating in 1969. During and after high school, he worked for Green Giant in Le Sueur on the pea and corn pack. Later he did some trucking across the US and found his life's work farming. He had farmed for over 46 years at the time of his death. During his farming, he also raised cattle and enjoyed time fishing.

Left to remember Junior are his sister, Hermine Berreau of Le Sueur; niece Hannah Berreau (Curt) of Le Sueur; nephews: Hans ( Berreau of Le Sueur and Ryan Wendelschafer of St. Peter; brother-in-law: Tom Wendelschafer of St. Peter and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Mary Jane Wendelschafer.
