Rosemary Boutwell

Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Rosemary Boutwell passed from this life into a better one with her Savior at her home on September 14th 2014 following several months of declining health. She was born December 4th, 1917 in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Lena (LaVallee) Swanson. After working for several years as a medical lab tech, Rosemary married Ralph Boutwell. They lived on the family farm in rural Kasota for the remainder of their lives.

Rosemary greatly missed her husband Ralph who passed away in 1999, parents, six brothers, a sister and their spouses along with many family members and friends who predeceased her. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Randy (Barbara) Boutwell of rural Kasota, Becky (Bix) Baker of Fairfax, Karen Johnson of Ellsworth, WI and Annette Boutwell of rural Kasota. Also grandchildren, LCDR Sarah R. Boutwell, US Navy , Jen (Dan) Brisson, Ryan (Kami) Boutwell, Beth, Brad and Britta Baker, Tascha (Jason) Bohrer, Micah (Julie) Crispin and 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Rosemary's life at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1250 Monks Ave, Mankato at 11:00 AM, Thursday Sept. 18th . Memorials may be directed to the Bethel Baptist Building Fund or Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice to whom we offer thanks for their excellent care.
