Eunice M Larson, age 99 of Aitkin, MN and formerly of St. Peter, died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Memorial mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter with Fr. Phil Schotzko officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eunice was born on February 23, 1914 in Nicollet County to Jacob and Clara (Juberien) Michels. She is a 1931 graduate of Good Counsel Academy in Mankato. She attended Normal Training School in Mankato for one year and taught rural school in Nicollet for 11 years. She continued her education at Mankato State University receiving her B.S. degree in education in August of 1962. She then taught elementary school in the St. Peter Public system until she retired in June1976.

On June 17, 1941 she married Dr. Milo H Larson who preceded her in death on July 20, 1980. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Nicollet County Historical Society, Community Hospital Auxiliary, Arts and Heritage. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter and was active in Catholic Daughters of the America's, CCD, CCW, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and volunteered at the church Thrift Store.

Eunice is survived by: one son: Milo J Larson and wife Karen of Conchas Dam, NM; daughter Thea Dahleen and husband Robert Jr. of Aitkin, MN; grandchildren: Laurie Larson, Per (Laura) Dahleen and Leif (Rayce) Dahleen; and great grandchildren: Milo and Otto Dahleen.

She was also preceded in death by: brothers: Robert and James; and sister: Olivia Zins.
