Barbara "Barb" Jean Palm

Barbara “Barb” Palm, age 74, passed away on September 15, 2026 at Oak Terrace Senior Living in Jordan.

Barb was born on June 6, 1952 to Howard and Stella (Smith) Brenke in St. Peter. She grew up in St. Peter and attended St. Peter High School graduating in 1971. Barb then lived in Shakopee for twenty years, then Le Sueur before moving to Oak Terrace in January of 2026. She had several jobs through out her life including, Family Fresh, St. Peter Hospital and Walmart in Shakopee.

Barb enjoyed going to the casino, shopping with friends, doing puzzles, going out to eat and visiting with friends and family. She was a tenacious woman and was very kind, caring, and supportive. Barb was so proud of her grandchildren and loved them immensely.

Barb is survived by her children, Amy (Ben) Knaus of Minneapolis and Jason Honetschlager of Ortonville; siblings, Roger (Corinne) Brenke of St. Peter and Judy Klein of Prior Lake; grandchildren, Ian Knaus of Minneapolis, Ella Knaus of Minneapolis, Dylan Honetschlager of Ortonville, Cameron Neu of Aberdeen, SD, and Ashley Wiseman of Millbank, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and Frederick Brenke and brother in law, Gary Klein.
