Carol Ann Swanson

Carol Ann Swanson, 91, passed away on February 18, 2026 in Saint Peter, Minnesota. Carol was born on February 18, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan to Francis Harold Sypher and Ruth Caroline Baumgras.

Carol graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, MI in 1953. Before she graduated, she married Jack Edward Lynde on August, 7, 1952. After Jack’s passing, she re-married to Robert Charles Swanson on November 17, 1980.

In her life, she was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. She, along with both husbands, were members of the United Church of God. Outside of raising her family, she also loved gardening, sewing, and hiking. A favorite hike of hers was Mt. Rainier, one she made with Jack.

Carol is survived by her children Ursula Robertson (Al) of Minnesota, Bruce Lynde of Arizona, and Nadine Neitzel (Dwayne) of Washington; grandchildren LeAnna, Christine, Derek, and Roxanne; 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 half-sisters.

She is preceded in death by 3 sisters, spouse Jack Lynde, spouse Robert Swanson, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
