Catherine Anne King

Catherine Anne King, age 87, of Mankato and formerly of St. Peter, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Catherine was born to Louie and Estelle Katzenberger in Seaforth, MN, on June 18, 1932. She married Ronald King on July 27, 1949. Together they had seven children. Catherine enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, watching the Vikings, playing cards, putting together puzzles, and volunteering her time.

Catherine is survived by her children, Louis (Vicki) King, Deborah Schultz, Randall (Susan) King, Kevin (Debra) King, Roxanne (Art) Cunningham, Rock Allen (Michelle) King, and Todd King; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian Rohlik, Teri Weasler, and Carol (Roger) Bauer, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; granddaughter, Kari; brother, James Katzenberger; son-in-law, Les Schultz; brothers-in-law, Gene Rohlik and Donnie Weasler.

Due to COVID-19 a private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Catholic Church of St. Peter. Burial will be in Kasota Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Padre Pio Foundation of America. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
