Charles Richard "Dick" Myhra

Dick Myhra, age 85 of St. Peter, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Ecumen Prairie Hill.

Charles Richard was born March 6, 1937 in St. Peter to Benton “Ben” and Leota (Ringwald) Myhra. He graduated from St. Peter High School and worked several jobs through his life. Most notably was as co-owner of the Embassy Bar and owner of a Whitewashing business. Dick was a 25+ year member of the St. Peter Volunteer Fire Department, serving 17 years as treasurer. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, spending winters in TX and especially time with family and friends.

Left to remember Dick are his wife Carol; children: Dick (Julie), Lori, Kris, Mike (Medea) and Trudy (Joey) Thelemann; step children: Teri (Mark) Spence, Brad (Ann) Braun, Brian (Kari) Braun, and Bob (Stephanie) Braun; 23 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Doug; brothers-in-law: Tom Goergen and Chuck (Lois) Parsons and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barb Goergen, grandson Benjamin Braun, sister-in-law Jeannette Hoehn; and brother-in-law John Clingerman.
