Charles Rice

Charles Rice, age 67 of St. Peter, passed away on Saturday, January 2nd at Mayo Hospital, Mankato.

Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at St. Peter Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00pm Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd. 

Charles Richard was born June 12, 1953 in Brainerd to Richard H. and Geraldine F. (Emery) Rice. He was raised in Brainerd, graduating from school in 1973. He then attended vocational school in 1974, and moved to St. Peter to work at the State Hospital. He was united in marriage to Rose Marie Kullhem on October 25, 1975 in Palisade MN. They made their home in St. Peter and were active members of Calvary Baptist. He enjoyed writing letters, going out to eat and shopping.

Left to remember Charles are his wife, Rose; siblings: Michael (Dianna) Rice of Ham Lake MN, and Judith (Bill Summers) Rice Summers; Rose’s siblings: Judith Hermann, Glen (Carla) Kullhem, Burton Kullhem, Paul (Karin) Kullhem and Dean (Deb) Kullhem; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
