Debbie Lee Davis

Debbie Lee Davis, age 68 of St. Peter, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Hennepin Healthcare, Minneapolis.

Memorial service is 11:00am Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Memorials can be directed toward Toys for Tots. To leave a condolence for the family, visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com. 

Debbie was born January 24, 1956 in St. Peter to Alfred P. and Arnola M. (Roemhildt) Davis. She was raised in Cleveland, and graduated from Cleveland High School. She then went to Faribault Area Vocational School, graduating as an LPN. She spent her career working in St. Peter, first at the St. Peter Community Hospital, and later Benedictine Living. Debbie was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran, and later in life joined a book club when reading became a hobby. She enjoyed crocheting, going on walks, visiting with coffee groups, and taking care of children. Most important was her family. Debbie persevered through many challenges in life and was always a helping hand to others. She will be remembered for being generous and thoughtful.

Left to remember Debbie are her sisters: Kathy Eager, Ronda (Cletus) Goblirsch, and Rita Bittner; nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Knish, Brady (Angie) Knish, Mandy (Wade) Simonette, Lisa Helling, Jason (Tonya) Bittner, Justin (Tiffany) Bittner, Joshua (Crystal) King-Olson, and Jacob Olson; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Caroline Neisen, and nephew Matthew Helling.
