Dennis L Palmquist, 77, of Le Center, MN passed away Monday, February 9th, 2026. Dennis, also affectionately known as “Denny”, was born on November 10th, 1948 to Carl and Josephine (Reinhart) Palmquist in St. Peter, MN. Denny helped on the family farm in New Sweden township during his growing up years. Upon graduating from St. Peter High School, he was drafted into the Army and spent time stationed in Germany as a Supply Clerk. Upon returning home, he began working at AlumaCraft Boats, Inc. in St. Peter, MN, where he worked for many years. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman and, when time allowed, one of his favorite places to be was up north fishing with his Mom, Dad, brothers and many other family members. In the fall you could always find Denny out hunting goose and ducks at his favorite hunting spots. He also enjoyed working on his prized car and vintage truck. Dennis loved his dogs deeply. They all carried a very special place in his heart, and he never missed a chance to spoil them. His kindness and love for others, and his deeply caring heart will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his brothers; Charles (Arlene) Palmquist, Gerald Palmquist, LaMar (Sheryl) Palmquist, and sister-in-law Mary Palmquist. Many nieces and nephews and their children. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Josephine Palmquist, brothers Donald, Darwin, and Marlowe, and his sister-in-laws Delores and Joleen.
