Dolores "Dee" Ann Kramer

Dolores “Dee” Ann Kramer nee Ryan formerly of St. Peter passed away on May 24, 2023.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Peter Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Savidge Lake Cemetery, Cleveland.  

Dee was born May 3, 1925 in Platte, South Dakota to John and Mary (Jaeger) Ryan. As a small child, she moved with her family to the St. Peter area.

Dee attended John Ireland Parochial School and graduated from St. Peter High School and Mankato Commercial College. She married Gordon E. Anderson on October 28, 1944. They had two children, Robert and Randee, and later divorced. Dee married Harry W. Kramer August 3, 1953 and they remained together until his death in 1997.

Dee worked at Nicollet County Public Health, Nicollet County Welfare Board, St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, and then worked thirty years for Drs. Thompson, Nelson, and Baker.

Her fondest memories were of days spent on the golf course with her golf pals.

Dee was preceded in death by son, Robert “Bob” Carter Anderson; daughter, Randee “Ree” Kay Cattell; sister, Rosemary Milistefr; brothers, Robert, John, and Michael; daughter-in-law, Marilyn (Vandeputte) Anderson; and husbands, Gordon Anderson and Harry Kramer.

Dee is survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson Scholl (Ryan), Patrick “Hank” Anderson (Sara), and Gregory Anderson (Beth); step-grandchild, Jamel Scheuring (Jason); and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by son-in-law, Larry Cattell; siblings, Jim, Jerry, Hank, Richard, and Kathy; sister-in-law, Dixie; and special friends, the Kennedy clan, the Barbour family, and the Vandeputte family.
