Felicia J. Dhaene, age 97 of St. Peter, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Pathstone Living, Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, St. Peter with visitation at 9:30am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. For a complete obituary or to leave a condolence for the family, visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com
Felicia Joyce was born December 24, 1928 in Ghent, MN to John and Ann (Sanders) Koch. She was raised in Minneota, graduating from high school there. She was united in marriage to Cyril A. Dhaene on June 10, 1947 in Minneota where they lived for a short time before moving to rural Henderson, MN they raising their eight children there for 19 years, before moving to St. Peter in 1975. Felicia was employed at ADC and later Onan until retirement in 2000. In retirement she also worked at Family Fresh Market in St. Peter. She was a big Twins fan and was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the American Legion.
Felicia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed baking, gardening and crafts. She had her own ceramics business with her daughter, Sue. They did a lot of craft shows until her health prevented her from doing anymore ceramics. After selling her home, she enjoyed living at a senior community in St. Peter where she would visit with her neighbors and play cards, and BINGO regularly. Later moving to Heritage Meadows Senior Apartments until January 2026 when she moved into Ecumen Pathstone Living Community, where she passed surrounded by family.
Left to remember Felicia are her children: John (Judy), Pat (Pam), Mark (Marlys), Lisa (Tim) Enz; 24 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 27 great great-grandchildren; siblings: Lois Schmidt, Vonnie Rauchmann, and Helen Anderson; daughter-in-law Diane Dhaene; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril in 1981; children: Mary Jane (Edward) Beseke in 1976, David in 2010, Suzanne in 2015, and Bill in 2019; three grandchildren; and siblings: Audrey and John “Jack”.
