Gwendolyn J. Weldon

Gwendolyn Janet (Drossel) Weldon, age 88 of St. Peter, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Benedictine Living Community, St. Peter.

Gwen was born on July 23, 1937 to Lester T. and Maidie(Boie) Drossel. She was united in marriage to Richard H. Weldon in Las Vegas, NV in December 1955. Gwen's greatest joy was being with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2017; son Jeffrey in 1989; and five siblings. She is survived by her children: Deborah (Norman) Schmidt of Le Center MN, Sandra (John) Trettel of Chanhassen MN, Gregory (Lori) Weldon of Heidelberg MN, and Jason (MacKenzie) Weldon of Apple Valley, MN; 12 grandchildren ; and 22 great-grandchildren.
