Joann L. Witty

Joann “Jo” L. Witty, age 91 of St. Peter, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Monday, June 15, 2026 at Sunrise Church, St. Peter with visitation beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery, St. Peter. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Joann Lois was born March 23, 1935 in St. Peter to Clifford and Margaret (Myhra) Lundgren and is a 1953 graduate of St. Peter High School. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Witty on March 4, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran, St. Peter. Jo spent her working years as a secretary at McKenzie & Gustafson Law Office in St. Peter. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, having coffee with friends, was a MN Timberwolves fan, and enjoyed the holidays-especially Christmas.

Left to remember Jo are her husband of 71 years, Bob; children: Carol (Steve) Fitch, Debra Witty, and Robert J. (Laura) Witty; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister Pat Palmquist; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn.
