June Caroline Marks

June Caroline Marks, age 87, formerly from White Bear Lake and Bloomington and currently of St. Peter, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 24, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

June was born September 15, 1934 in Ortonville, MN to John and Myrtle (Haubris) Beck. She graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1952. June was introduced to Gordon Marks at the movie theater, and they were united in marriage on May 31, 1953. As newlyweds, June and Gordon lived in St. Paul, White Bear Lake, and Mendota Heights.

She was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and served as a den mother for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and also sold Avon and Princess House.  June enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. She loved being a wife, mom, and grandma.

June is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gordon; children, Michael Marks, Linda (Gordon) Skiba, and Dale (Angela) Marks; grandchildren, Jason (Ashley Wise) Marks, Christopher (Christina Sempio) Marks, Nathaniel Marks, and Ethan Marks.

June was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Marks.
