St. Peter, MN

Kathleen "Kathy" Ann (Baker) Keogh, age 88, of St. Peter, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Ecumen Prairie Hill in St. Peter.

Kathy was born on January 30, 1938, in St. Peter, Minnesota, to Edwin and Kathryne (Adolphson) Baker. She attended John Ireland School and graduated from St. Peter High School in 1955. Kathy worked for the Gas Company before marrying Keith Keogh on August 29, 1959 & went on to have five children.

Kathy was the CEO of her family, a trusted guidance counselor, and, above all, a loving mother to her four daughters. She was devoted to her family, cherishing her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and treasured every moment spent together. We could not have asked for a more loving mother, a truer friend, or someone who was always there for us when we needed her most. She was our rock, our comfort, and our person. She will be deeply missed by all of us, but we find comfort in knowing she will continue to watch over us.

Kathy devoted countless hours to volunteering and serving her community. She faithfully helped with church envelopes every Monday, sang in the church choir, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and assisted Keith with the many tasks involved in running their business, the Embassy Bar, which they proudly owned and operated for 40 years. Over the years, she also played an instrumental role in preparing batch after batch of Tom & Jerrys, making sure this beloved holiday tradition was part of countless Thanksgiving celebrations and Christmas Eves.

Kathy enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, her Thursday golf outings, and traveling, especially to two of her favorite destinations, Hawaii and Ireland. She also had a deep love of reading. Above all, Kathy will be remembered for her loving, compassionate, and humble nature, and for the genuine friendship she offered to everyone she met. Her door was always open to anyone in need of a place to go or a welcoming heart, including all of her daughters' friends, whom she welcomed as her own.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Kim Burg (Doug Geesey), Kelley (Brad) Reese, Katie (Al) Erickson all of St. Peter, MN, Kristine Logvin (Tom Nordstrom) of Pembroke Pines, FL. Her grandchildren, Brady Reese (Sierra Krueger), Brett Reese (fiancée Shelby Herlick), Lauren Erickson, Cody (Bailee) Erickson, Dane (Alle) Logvin, Alyra Logvin (Han Webber), & her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Ayla & Tate. Also, brothers-in-law Marvin & Jerry, and many nieces and nephews, & special friend who was like a son, Al (Denise) Aspelund.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, in June of 2023, son Kevin, in December of 1964, her parents, Kathryne & Edwin Baker & Louis Nolan, brother Richard & sisters-in-law Lillian Baker and Patricia Keogh.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ecumen Prairie Hill and the wonderful Hospice team for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to our Mother. We are truly grateful for everything they did for her and our family during this time.
