Larry C. Ballman

Larry C. Ballman, age 73 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Memorial service is 11:00am Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Church of the Nativity Catholic, Cleveland with visitation at 9:30am. Memorials can be given to the American Lung Association. The service will be livestreamed at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Larry Clement was born April 17, 1950 in Mankato to Clement and Mary Lou (Maxfield) Ballman. He was raised in the Cleveland area and is a graduate of Cleveland High School. On September 11, 1975 he was united in marriage to Kathy Marie Volk in Brookings, SD. They made their home in Cleveland and Larry was employed at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, forced into early retirement due to health reasons. He was a member of the German/Jefferson Sportsman Club and enjoyed fishing & hunting locally, along with out state trips with friends to hunt and fish, he loved watching and playing sports when he was able, and he took great pride in being the caretaker of several area cemeteries. Most importantly, he enjoyed time with his family.

Left to remember Larry are his wife, Kathy; children: Louie (Stephanie) and Thea; grandchildren: Kenna (Jordan), Aidan Randall, and Logan and Dean Stemmer; great grandchildren: Kara and Maya Anderson; siblings: Rick (Muggs), Brad (Cease), Greg, Jan (Mike) Campe, Steve, Mark (Barb), Randy (Laurel), Melissa Soltis, and Paul (Carla); and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Allan.
