Linda Jean Anderson

Linda Jean Anderson, age 76 of St. Peter, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Mayo St. Mary’s, Rochester.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with visitation beginning at 9:00am. Memorials can be directed toward the St. Peter Food Shelf, or St. Jude’s. To leave a condolence for the family, or view service livestream visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Linda was born April 5, 1949 in St. Peter to Stanley and Lucille (Conrath) Anderson. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1967, and continued her education at the U of MN, and later MSU-Mankato, eventually graduating with her Masters Degree. She started her employment at South Central College in Computer Careers, eventually becoming an instructor for 35 of her 40 years there. Linda was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. In her free time she enjoyed golfing, canoeing, photography, baking, grilling, refinishing furniture, watching MN Sports (Vikings, Twins, and Wild), playing games on her computer, traveling, vacations in the car and attending Christmas in Christ Chapel yearly. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Left to remember Linda are her siblings: Karen (Dave) Ziesmer, Kathy, David, Donald, Kris (Ed) Johnson, and Vicki; niblings: Erin (Ryan) Moenck, Eric (Rachal) Ziesmer, Caitlin (Adam) Ziesmer, & Kenzie (Luis), Skylar, and Randie (Alex) Anderson; step niblings: Clint (Amee), Greg (Melissa) and Lindsay (Derek); several great-niblings; aunts: Shirley Hager and Cheryl (Dick) Weisgerber; and many beloved extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Donna.
