Linda Rae (Willson) Derner

March 19, 1951 — April 24, 2019

Linda Rae (Willson) Derner, 68 of Kasota, died April 24,2019 at St.Mary’s Hospital in Rochester after a long battle with Kidney Disease.

There will be a celebration of life from 1-4pm, Saturday May 11,2019 at the Kasota Community Center. Burial will be at the Kasota Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Linda was born March 19, 1951 to Daniel and Ruby (Krohn) Willson in Winnebago, Minnesota. She graduated from Waterville High School. Linda worked for Hubbard Milling Company for 15 years before being bought out by Corporate Graphics of North Mankato, there she worked for 28 years as a printing estimator before retiring in March of 2015. On September 23, 1994, she married Kenneth Derner in St.Peter Minnesota.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and most importantly being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children Mickey Attenberger and Susan (Attenberger) Boelter; stepdaughter; Tricia Derner; grandchildren, Wyatt, Austin, Morgan, Nakesha, Evelyn, and Matthew;siblings, Steven and Karen Willson of Mankato, Minnesota, Curtis and Marlene Willson of St.Peter Minnesota, Douglas and Jodi Willson of Kasota, Charles Willson of St.Peter, Patrick Willson of Austin, Minnesota, Betty and Dayle Maas of Kasota, Mary Holcomb and special friend Marty of North Mankato, and Karen Strand of Kasota; and many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John and Richard.
