Marilyn L. McKee

Marilyn L. McKee, age 75 of Cleveland, passed away surrounded by family and close friends on October 28, 2025.

Private family services are being held.

Marilyn Lois was born December 24, 1949 in St. Peter, MN to Myles and Josephine (Cook) Schmidt. She attended Cleveland Public School graduating in 1967. In May 1969, she was married to Stuart McKee. They had two children and later divorced. In 1985, she met her life partner, Verlin Harms and they enjoyed 39 years with each other until her passing. Marilyn was employed at both ADC and Telex Communication in Le Sueur before retirement. She found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to remember Marilyn are her children: Lori (Kevin) Mueller, and Holly (Tom) Connor; life partner, Verlin; grandchildren: Lucas and Isaac Mueller, & Harley and Kyle Connor; Verlin's children: Gardell (Sheila) Harms, and Darnell (Matt) Cabanilla; his grandchildren: Leah (Kylan) Bjorkquist, and Wyatt Cabanilla; sister: Joann (David) Voss; sister-in-law Janice Schmidt; three nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Bruce Schmidt.
