Michael John Holden

Michael “Weber” Holden, age 58, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, following a brave fight against cancer, surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary.

Mike was born on August 12, 1967, to John and Judith Holden. He was the oldest of three boys: Mike, Chris, and Nate. He graduated from Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School in northern Minnesota in 1986. He later attended Mankato State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Mike worked several jobs over the years, including as a salesman at Lager’s Chrysler World in Mankato, before eventually starting his own business. He owned and operated The Dish Doctors in St. Peter, MN, for more than 20 years. He took pride in providing his customers with trusted, local service.

Mike lived life fully and on his own terms. He was outgoing, fun, and the kind of person who seemed to know everyone—because he truly did. His presence lit up a room, and his ability to connect with people created lasting impressions and lifelong friendships wherever he went.

He found joy in the simple and meaningful moments: riding his Harley alongside his “Grumpy Old Men” crew, spending time up north at the hunting shack, and soaking in long summer days on the lake. These weren’t just hobbies to Mike—they were the places and moments where memories were made and bonds were strengthened.

Above all else, Mike’s greatest love was his family. He cherished every moment spent with them and made sure they always knew how much they meant to him. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and deep connection.

Mike is survived by his beloved significant other of more than 24 years, Lynn Lundberg; his children, Benjamin (Amira Mallet) Holden of Cleveland and Addison Holden of Cleveland; his father, John Holden of Carlton, MN; his brothers, Chris (Keri Lundgren) Holden of Madison Lake, MN, and Nate (Trista) Holden of Saginaw, MN; his niece, Emily Holden of Madison Lake, MN; his uncle, Denny (Betty) Meyer of Waverly, IA; and his cousins, Darcy (Mike) Byl of Waverly, IA, Deb (Donny) Wheeler of Plainfield, IA, and DeAnn Meyer of Waverly, IA. He is also survived by Lynn’s mother, Lois Lundberg of Le Sueur, MN.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Holden; his grandfathers, Maynard Klenk and Carl Duenow; his grandmother, Foline Duenow; his aunt, Joyce Gallovich; his cousin, Dawn (Meyer) Dillavou; and his special buddy, Gary Lundberg.

Though he will be deeply missed, Mike’s spirit lives on in the stories shared, the roads traveled, and the memories created with those who knew and loved him.
