Myrtle "Debbie" Nordeen

Myrtle “Debbie” Nordeen, age 89, of Kasota, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Funeral Home with interment to follow at Kasota Hill Cemetery.

Myrtle was born on October 1, 1931 in St. Peter to Alfred and Anna Nordeen, who lived in Kasota.   She attended public school in Kasota and St. Peter, graduating from St. Peter High School in 1949.  Debbie then graduated from Northwestern College in Minneapolis in 1955.  Debbie lived in Minneapolis for years and worked at the Hennepin County Medical Center.  In 1983 Debbie returned to Kasota to provide loving care for her mother. 

Debbie is survived by a niece; nephews; and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
