Patricia Joanne Krenik

Patricia Joanne (Sonnek) Krenik, age 83, of Cleveland MN, died on July 2, 2026. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Church of the Nativity, Cleveland MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Scotch Lake. St Peter Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Patricia Joanne Krenik was born November 18, 1942, to Louis and Veronica (Murphy) Sonnek, in Mankato MN. Pat attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Easton, MN through ninth grade and graduated from Delavan High School in 1960. She later attended South Central Technical College receiving an Associate Degree.

Patricia married her best friend and the love of her life, Donald E. Krenik of Cleveland, MN, on June 30, 1962. Together they had a beautiful life enjoying summer and winter fishing, golfing, traveling and their four-legged friends.

Patricia worked for Green Giant Company and ADC Telecommunications. After retirement, Pat worked part-time for Brown Printing Company.

She was a member of The Church of the Nativity in Cleveland, CCW, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Cleveland.

Surviving Pat are her brothers, Russell (Ruth) Sonnek, and Terrance (Janice) Sonnek; sister-in-law, Joretta Ehrhard, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Krenik; her parents; sisters, Shirley (Keith) Fraze and Rita (Ron) Davids; father and mother-in-law, Edward W. (Margaret) Krenik; grandniece, Ashley Malevich; and former brother-in-law Paul Ehrhardt.
